Earths Scorn
She calls the winds, summons the sea,
hurling and crashing they soar.
Mighty walls come rushing forward,
they slam her crowded shores.
The thunder replies, echoing her cries,
lighting her way, it roars.
Her trees snap, bend and groan,
her cries turn into pleas.
Grassy fields bow down low,
swallowed up raging seas.
Caught in the throngs of death,
she struggles to get free.

Her mountains shake and tremble,
fueled by fire her temper grows.
Abused by you her lover,
her seasons change their flow.
She spits your poison back at you,
your betrayal all she known.
She quickly covers up her wounds,
that you laid bare, for all to see.
Did she not try to love you,
share all her mysteries?
Now she'll cast you off, abandon you,
and give you to the sea.
