Reflection

Reflection as a word, means so much more than we've heard.
It is something so much deeper, than just what reflects in the mirrors pane.
It is so much more than just simply light refraction.

Reflection is something cast from within, shining outward.
Or shining outside you, turned within.
Something that takes time, as it reveals the truths you must find.

Born not of rhyme, yet reason.
It may start at any time, not just because of season.
It exists to bring purpose to our being.

They have ever said, that hindsight is 20/20.
Meaning perfect vision, and clarity.
But hindsight is only practiced in retrospect.

And lest we forget, there is no retrospect, without our personal reflection.
Our guiding light, which offers direction.
And most oft, without detection, or suspecting.

Far too oft it is true, that when you go back you find, reflection was the very means, that brought your truth unto you.
