One's heart and mind is in turmoil
"The waters edge, cutting shallow against bare ankles whereat I stand in the darkened coolness under the golden glow of my midnight moon with shimmering seashells sparkling 'cross waters way; their past a path from my moon and back.
Shall I or not, step deeper in, feeling still small rippling waves, water circling and rising or is it me that is going under, even asunder as life once known is cast to the evening winds as a slow drowning begins below such a magnificent moonlit midnight?."
