A poem inspired from night life
The Night, like a heart, has a sound all it’s own
The beat and swish of the flow goes on

The same energy sparks the rhythm of the beat
But the pace is slower while most of the world sleeps

The flow of life knows no day or night
Life is preserved in the dark and in the light

Darkness blankets the night with deceitful cover
And promises comfort like that of a mother

But it’s ebb and flow are feverish and loud
A place where isolation is found in a crowd

Then, daylight ignites a rush in the flow
The world awakens and is ready to go

But before night meets morning and the sun begins to dawn
Before sleep touches my eyes and I begin to yawn

There is a moment of the deepest navy hue
When the sky changes from black to blue

In that breathless moment where hope begins
My heart and eyes see BLUE AGAIN.
