Death

Death
on the brink of war, blood flowing on the floor,
red sea of tears, going on for years,
singing songs, to soften the pain,
all able to lose, nothing able to gain,
life a simple train, on the tracks made from grain,
poor is dead, the rich with severed heads,
shadows on the wall, the glorious kings fall,
eagles crawl, ravens sing,
with the demons sitting on their wings,
death to the land,
and all who fly,
they didn't know they came to die.
