A poem about life
Tapestry

The tapestry of my life is at a new row;
Ripe for a thread for me to sew;

My tapestry is intricate and full of life;
Rows have been calm, and there has been strife;

The fabric of my life cannot be set out on a page;
I have experienced peace and I have tasted rage;

I have been loved and have loved in return;
I have scorned another and I have been burned;

I have been instructed on what is acceptable and what is not done;
I have been told what I should accomplish and how I should have fun;

This next section of tapestry, I believe
Will be whatever I CHOOSE to achieve.
