Just a quick poem I whipped up. A little darker than my usual material.
I ran
And as I ran I screamed
And as I screamed I sang
And as I sang the pain coursed through me

There is no relief from heartache
There is no medication for loneliness
There is no cure to missing you

There is a hatred in my heart
That only you could quell
Now your gone
And it's too strong
God, am I going to Hell.

You made my life so bearable
And then you went away
Leaving me to find myself
Lost in all the fray.

Your death killed part of me
The largest part I know
It's dead and walking
Silenced but talking
Running so far away
Until my dying day.

You kept me sane
Without you I'm gone
With no refrain
I right this wrong.

Your death was the death of me
But do not fear
I will go on
And be who you wished me to be.
