chalk like rubbings of my soul

I don't want to live without him, and its getting close to anymore
The monster promised knight is continuously beating me sore
Sickness in my head and receiving a tired heart
Endurance is so small, I desire to depart
Taste no longer pleasant, colors have turned to gray
Heaviness weighing on my chest is unbearable today
Music a lost love though not comparable to one
Everything that was pleasing equals zero in a sum
Wandering about with only a step known at a time
Continuing now at a ragged pace but over this hill I'll climb
