Separated Spirits

They are erected by boulders
which rests atop both sets of shoulders.
Though bold, neither should soldier on
nor wander within outdated woods.
Lodged in cavernous minds, hatred would
misguide each outside their better nature.

Unkind letters are an indicator
how the river of time builds backlashes;
thus, sore eyes stay pouring water and salt
as shored up lies go on boosting soaring costs
for feathering a thieving nest of hawks.
