A struggle to not have feelings for a friend.
The more time I spend thinking of you
I get slightly scared
and some what shocked.
I've sunk quite fairly into your charm
I'm trying to stay away
I'm trying not to tease
I'm keeping my distance
from your upright self esteem
but you aren't cocky
and you aren't rude
It's just your honesty
that is hard to swallow through.
I dislike what is happening,
I' am sure I'm just confused.
This is a phase
a crush
a blimp
I will eventually diffuse.
It's as if a comet is longing for the sun.
It knows it will be destroyed.
It knows it cannot win,
but yet it is attracting it
bit by bit.
The more I deny it
and the more I refuse
to accept these feelings
that are forging through
is merely more time
I spend thinking of you.
