She asked me for a love poem. This was the result.
On Monday
         You asked me out for tea.
         I thought I'd see.

On Tuesday
         You looked at me and smiled.
         My heart went wild.

On Wednesday
         We met in town to dine
         And drink plum wine.

On Thursday
         You visited your home.
         I felt alone.

On Friday
         You held my hand and said
         Let's go to bed.

Now the weekend has come and there's only us two;
And what shall we do, my dear? What shall we do?
