A poem about little red paper boats
Dark water,
swallow me,
wrap me in warm flows,
tuck me in those undertows
and lay me on your soft bed.
Light a candle
and set it sail in red.
A little boat,
let it float,
a tiny halo
in the mist,
let it drift
toward the sea.
Carrying my soul
and me.
One more time
beneath junk-sail skies,
out into the
dark water,
swallow me.
