a small piece of how i see small things
The Nature I saw

Sit on that bench, near that tree
Where i lay when i was young and confused
When i didnt know what to do
But to stay there in sight
Of nature calling out to you
To tell there is more meaning
More rhythm, more compassion
And not, when there would be shadows
And outgrown love
With mixed sky and empty stars
It was no fantasy
Nor was it typical

But i sat and heard the leaves
They told me to shine where they belonged
And fleet away, not too far
When it is'nt your window
For u would be stronger to build on again.

The wind told me about courage
To exist in all ways, always
And to gush up on yourself
When your heads low and;
Ur strands fall upon your facet.

The soil spoke about strength and unity
That one tiny rock could'nt keep good
It needed all its firm ally
To fear not what may come
To be rooted to your core

And as i arched up to the supreme
The sunny sky spoke more
More than variety, more than passing clouds
More than fears hidden

It spoke of Humanity
Of thirsty dreams still dreams
Of prayers unanswered
Of health and love
Of Art and family

You'd be surprised to hear
For u heard too close
To hear rustles and wind
Too tan and dirty d place might be

For i seeked an answer
Not just a response to anything
Something worth thinking
Something that draws you away
From an old hat.
