This was my project, our teacher asked us to write a free-verse poem, so yeah.
She has this smile, a beautiful smile
A face that is blooming even from a mile
And her eyes is so happy as you can see
She has a voice admired by all
Because they say, she can speak out her soul.

Everyone keeps their gazes on her
She's wearing a dress swaying with the air
Swaying together with her jet black hair
They're watching her walk while carrying her smile
Like the crescent moon at the fourth of night.

But they didn't know the true face behind that mask
A mask that hides her pathetic eyes and faded smile
It covers her mascara ruined by the tears running down
An unlovely face that is hated by some
And an identity that no one would dare to ask.

She was afraid if she showed herself, what might happen
She was afraid that the people loving her will lessen
She was afraid that no one will take her
And as she continues to think about that
She took off her mask and tears starts rolling down again.

All she needs is someone who will take her mask off
Without something to say nor do that will hurt her
Accept her flaws and everything she is
Who will be by her side and will not leave
Whom she can be herself with and love her still.
