Today, I sowed,
A better fortune,
Tonight, I bleed,
Like weathered urchins,
Seeking mending from the Father,
Or something spirited, rather

Psalms tarnish these floorboards,
And writhe with pain in scrambled hoards,
We coax them with a tempting game,
Of Singing glyphs and hiding names,
For fear treads this path again,
Afoot is it's bounty,
Throughout the whole of Sussex County!

Cathedral walkways stand ablaze,
In Saxon courts, romanced and dazed,
By fables' folly, the righteous cleave,
Senselessly and sans reprieve,
Stalking ghosts without a find,
Gnashing verses to the rind,
With teeth of wood,
And peace of mind,
Abound...
