Just finished season two of Penny Dreadful and this came to me
Black Widow

One more kiss to take it all
To take it all away
Figures large consume the fall
The aching of the day

One more breath to last till dawn
The hourglass, it drips
As sunset falls with curtains drawn
Sand turned finite slips

One more grain to join the stack
Through narrows we must fall
We set aside the things we lack
To find the wherewithal

One more kiss to take it back
The sand that fell too soon
Figures painted long and black
In shadows, we're consumed
