A troubled man, trying to grasp hold of a marriage situation, is hypnotized.

Once I woke up in another dimension.
Smile on my face replaced frown of contention.
No condescension, negative disposition
No mention of bills needing attention.
Wanted to talk to me, be with me, sleep with me
Needed me, desperately clung to me kissing me
Positive words instead of constantly dissing me
Bickering making me feel like I'm failing,
Hell that was burning, hurting, discouraged me
Now stuck in a dreamland with an apparition loving me.
Holding me accountable for the warmth she needs,
But telling me, not casting a negative spell on me.
Darkness fell over this world that was perfectly
Laid out by a therapist markedly; urgently.
A snap of the finger hurriedly, horridly, brought
Me back to a reality I honestly didn't need.
A seed was placed in my brain as I lay dazedly.
Lazily sat up, knowing it was all just a dream.
How could I get back to a dimension just like this?
Not one where disdain replaces our kiss.
Not one where we wonder when we'll be free.
Not one that passes with ease, without you or me.
Come with me, dance in the sun and have fun with me;
Leave everything behind, we'll enjoy it; just you and me.
