This is a poem I wrote for my mom, who passed away when I was young. <3
As I lay there in the grass, I think oh what a day. I have so much to be thankful for, in each and every way. So as I stare up at the big blue sky, I see a face of joy passing by. A beautiful spirit, with a lovely smile, wishing that she could stay just awhile. To see her children one last time, and to sing to them the timeless rhyme. Oh what a beautiful day, oh what a beautiful day. So as I sit on the grass and pray, that on some pretty summer day. That I could see my mom once more. See her smile, hear her laugh, again and again. But unfortunately I cant. So I'm going to have to remember her the only way I can. In the memories that will be in my heart forever. Then maybe some day we can sing together the poem of remembrance. Oh what a beautiful day, Oh what a beautiful day. Rest in peace Mom
