Prompt # 8. You wake up in the morning to see a large moon-like object in the sky.
My eyes do they deceive me?
I know it can't be true
The moon's not supposed to be here
When the sun is shining through
I looked out my window, and there for sure
The moon was glazing in the morn
Nearly knocked me to the floor
Why oh why this phenomenon?
Must be certainly a rip in time
I tried all day to figure it through
But made no sense, or cents, I think, no -- not even a dime
Then I watched the television and they explained the moon's bedevilment
It wasn't lunar mischievousness, but merely an advertisement
A big moon-shaped balloon advertising sales that day 'til noon.
