Introspective poem about life's journey
Mud tracks:
covered in tears and blood
Foot Prints:
holding memories of all that I've ever loved
Seeds drowning along:
In heart breaks and heart aches and anger not succumbed
Deep in my shoe's traction:
rests a Cocooned SUN
Trickling down from my palms:
all of the songs that I have ever sung

This is my PATH:
whether or regardless of what is done
This is my LIFE:
caught between insanity and pain and ambivalent LOVE
Seeds buried alive:
hungering to be borne
Songs bursting INSIDE:
tortured and thirsting to someday SOAR
In this earth that I leave behind:
the furrows that I have bore

What difference did I make?
I wonder all the more
What harvest did I sow?
so much yet to be explored
What shall I reap?
an open or closed door
After this undertow:
ravishes me inside and after to abide evermore

An alien in this world:
beckoning to exist
Going onward to home:
never could resist
Will I become and know:
that question that plagues my soul

WHO I AM; WHO AM I?
Could never let go...
