admiration fills the eyes
that catch the wind kissing
falling leaves.

the same way
an eager sea consumes
the shore.

how a numb mountain peak
finds warmth in the sunrise
each time it stirs.

as the stars cling
to the night
for every breath.

admiration is too,
not unknown for the eyes
which glimpse

the way I am kissed,
by your lips.
