NEW kid learns he has 3 days to live or die

3 DAYS TO LIVE 1 DAY TO DIE

The thunder woke me up. My mom was sleeping right next to my bed; the hospital room was as silent as a grave. It was 12:00 in the morning I closed my eyes and prayed for a normal life or even three great days to live, a tear rolled down my cheeks and I fell asleep.

DAY 1

I found myself in a new room the next day, I was alone and I could stand up without using as much energy as I did. The entire room was white and had no markings as if it was a new block. The door opened and a doctor came in and handed me a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. He told me I was being discharged from the hospital.

I found my parents waiting for me at the lobby, tears of joy ran through my cheeks as I hugged them. We left the hospital as my friends came to say good bye. For the first time I saw how the hospital looked like from the outside. It was a short drive from the hospital to our home and a lot had changed like the little plants had matured into great trees and our neighbors' dog, Cathy was no longer a pup but a full on bull dog. When we arrived home, I found my younger sister with another girl I didn't recognize until I was told she was my cousin. All my relatives were happy to see me alive and kicking, it was as if I had resurrected or something. We had a great party till 9:00 pm and everyone left. I was still confused since everything went on so fast. That night my parents told me I was given a miracle drug that could save me from cancer or just give me three days. Just as I had asked for.

I knew I had to make the best out of those five days or I would die without living life, I didn't shed a single tear, I have been ready for death for the last 2 years and now I'm being told I have 3 more days to live I can't spend them crying. I went to bed knowing that I will be fine or if not I will have the best 72 hours of my life and will spend it all in my highest potential.

DAY 2

I woke up without my usual moans and groans it was like my entire body was remodeled and was a robot on the inside. I really didn't care what had happened to me; I just stuck to my fun filled 3 days. My parents had planned an entire day at wincers Water Park.

We had a blast. I never had such fun in the last 2 years and I didn't even feel tired or weak I felt amazing and I ate thousands of fries not some healthy vegetables like I did in the hospital. As we were having lunch my younger sister told me how happy she was to see me. She grew up for 2 years with a brother she had never seen. Here I did not know if tomorrow will be my last day on planet earth or a whole new life is waiting for me. I guess only time could tell for sure if I will live a full potential life. After noon we went to meet Lincoln, he's been a great doctor and friend to me. My parents told me it was nothing much just a quick check up, it didn't seem like much but 2 years ago that was what they told me only to find myself transferred from hospital to hospital in search of a cure.

Dr. Lincoln was the same old doctor with his wired sense of humor after all the normal check up I was free to go and turns out I was in great shape. Some of the kids I was with in the cancer ward were also discharged, that's when I learnt that the world was getting rid of brain cancer piece by piece and I was the pioneer.

Back at home news anchors were on the rage to interview me as if I was some kind of celebrity; they asked me like a million questions at a go. All the flashes from their cameras made my vision blurry and I felt dizzy as if the entire world was rotating at a million miles an hour. I lost control of my body and fainted, the last thing I heard was my sister shout my name. I hit the ground hard and all went black.

DAY 3

My personal beeping alarm was back, it woke me up every day except yesterday I guess my one day at LE RELAXATION WORLD HOTEL was over. I was in an operating room, again I didn't give myself much hope this time, maybe cancer will never be treatable and I was just having a wacky dream that I was cured for a day. The door was opened and my mom came in with a doctor, I swallowed hard ready to hear that I have a day to live. I couldn't believe what I heard. My brain tumor was REMOVED the previous day. I couldn't believe it I was healed for real this time, it was all over the news; brain cancer was no longer an issue to anyone. I was discharged again and this time I was sure it was the last time I will see the hospital.

That night as I lay in bed I realized how life was mysteriously wired, I mean here I am a 14 year old boy who is fully ready to die only to be told I no longer have a tumor in my brain.

To every kid out there, life isn't short and the almighty is watching after you, I may not be fully healed but at least I can still live a perfect life for now GOD IS GREAT and is watching after all of us. That night I wrote a book of everything that happened in the last few days to inspire every child out there, whatever country you may be a day might be all you need to get well soon
