We all follow The Skeleton Man.
A song comes round the dark,
The abyss that plays host to lost souls like me.
The melody jumps from mind to mind,
Spreading hope of a savior.
They say you can find him simply,
Just follow the glow of the lantern he holds.
The fire chases away the shadows,
Leaving a haven in his wake.
They say you can hear the wails for miles,
Of the souls calling for him to wait.
For he never stops his march,
Not once glancing round.
They call him The Skeleton Man,
For his limbs are worn to the bone,
His once glorious cloak has turned to rags.
We all follow The Skeleton Man,
We all wish to bask in his lanterns glow.
