Shattered

my feelings about us-

true but sad though-

heart filled with only lust-

artificial love puffed eyes tear bust-

whole pie ate left only crust-

leading me on pretending-

true authentic love descending-

what was then winter and spring passion-

now ends like summer drought-

your arms and warmth slipped from within-

just myself felt chills from hot tub i sink in-

as i sit in front the mirror i study my reflection-

what would of; what could have been i thought silently-

finally i conclude every heart has its destiny-
