To become what you fear, the creatures of the night are calling you
The fear of the world was knocking at my door this cold dark night
As the clouds wrapped their arms around the moon only blocking a sliver
The strong winds rattled at my door
As the tree limbs ran their long finger like nails down my window
Making every hair on my neck stand up
As the candle light flickered
I sat in the corner rocking myself back and forth
Feeling my heart race and shaking like a little girl
Too scared to move
I could hear the screams of villagers all around me
Becoming closer with each scream
I covered my ears with fright
Closed my eyes so tight
I kept telling myself it was all in my head
As the lump in my throat got tighter with every second
As the air became so cold I could see my own breath
The howls all around me
Calling my name
Wanting me to make sweet music with them
The music of the night
I could feel my body wanting to break free
Free from this body into my newly molded one
As my body trembles and curls into the fetal postion
Rocking back and forth not wanting this
As I scream in pain
As I feel my body begin to shift shape
As my fingers become dislocated
Feeling my bones grow with all might
Adjusting itself unto it's new shape
The burning of my muscles
Stretching in ways that was not met to be
The aching of my body as my spine cracks
As my once lovely locks of silk hair is replaced by a full covered coat all over
I scream as I feel this fire like sensation burning through out me
As the screams turn to howls
I stand upon all four
My phobia has left me
I have become what I have feared
As I run and feel the broken glass stick in my fur
As I jump through the window
Seeing my brothers and sisters of the night
As we howl and kill under the sweet the moon light
