"...Broken people are dangerous, they know they can survive"-unknown
The slipknot failed
to keep a throat
free from any censure.
Scarred necks
are no stranger to a
hangman's noose.

Still they stand
tottering ducklings,
shot and tipsy
a centered stare.

Startling flecks of heavily applied
paint--lost in the onslaught.
Whittled down metal frames,
prove more difficult
a target.
