The differences between DP and Theme in a story
Themes:
                   Teenage self-image
                   Bullying
                   Being unacceptable if you're different
                   Men's attitudes to Women
                   Mental health
                   Health in general
                   Women's self-esteem issues
                   World's perception of what a woman should look like.


Dramatic Premise:

Negative DP
Her original weight and the attitude of her peers about it, leads to the loss of her self-esteem.

Positive DP
Her weight loss leads to the renewal of her self-esteem and to the rejection of those who she realises only want to know her for her looks and not for who she really is.

Central Character: Lucy

Supporting Character: Frank

Life Changing Event: Joining Weight Watchers and losing 60lb

Crises: Lucy is teased at school.
            Lucy is unable to lose weight.
            Frank dumps her, then tells her he might take her back if she loses                 50lb.
