After a break up of the person you cared most about
Wet and cold on an early morning dew
As I wake and see the broken photograph of you
I know Im wrong and was wrong from the start
But when I see you it diminishes my heart

I knew the beginning of this belonging end
And at first I didn't want to still be friends
Although it hurt It didn't I would pretend
Even though my heart is still out there for lend

Your eyes were a sanction for my wicked ways
And your heart was the palace I would spend my days
And as I lay here the memories replay
Of the day when your heart finally went astray

He was perfect you vigorously claimed
As you stared and violently strained
And your mind fell light like a breathtaking dove
As you strikingly told what was left of our love
