promise you will love me too
to the one i love next,
i get jealous sometimes
because i know that a heart
loves more than a mind does

to the one i love next,
i will meet you at dawn
because i know that if you are breaking
someone needs to hold you down

to the one i love next,
your heart will be safe
because i know how it feels
for it to constantly ache

to the one i love next,
i will shower you with care
because i know how it feels
when nobody is there

to the one i love next,
please take care of me too
because i had loved someone once before
who never did what i will do for you
