Forgotten but still here
A face with a grin,
A soul with sin,
As it points with its eyes,
As it's mouth tells lies.

Let me be,
For I am you.
We are practically the same,
Through and through.

You see no heart,
In the blackness of night.
And you have failure to see,
Through your blindness of sight.

It was all a game,
To you anyway.
A shallow game,
Of hate in play.

So go lay down,
And pretend that I'm gone.
I shall sit and watch,
As You sing your hate song.

You shake me off,
LIke a looming cry.
I don't bother to ask,
The answer "why?"

Now remember that when,
You shrudder with fear,
It is then,
That I am near.

When your heart is racing,
And you feel a tear,
Remember that though I am forgotten,
I am still here.
