about the marikana event in south africa on 12 august 2016

In these tears not only tears i see but blood in it
Not only a sad face i picture but what you had been through,
for my ears still hear that noise
fantasy still drops me to the sharpville and
lost me in the perils of shock see poor souls succumb without mercy and
to a vendetta among their spirits ,
cries are in within the brains of the bereaved gallants
for trees speak of the brutality
nights can see such terror and sea tide when they speak as drakensburg rumbles to unveil that dubious unkindness
so who doesnt know of those souls lying in unresting peace
who doesnt know the unforetold story scribed in our hearts
that lesson they taught us when they presume to be ignorant

i see not only lamps on the grave yard but heroes flaming up to the sky living among a humble cabinet with elated faces

"happy birthday marikana'
