A few lines to get me (and may be you) thinking on how to feel warm again.
The rain has let up a bit. Enough that I notice the lack of tapping on the AC unit still in the window. But it is cold. It is a cold that you can't seem to warm up from. A cold that chills the soul. And the trick is to not let it freeze your soul. What do you do? What kind of kindling do you use to get the fire started so your soul doesn't freeze?
