A tour of the ghostly and ghoulish
If you hate fear or sudden fright
Then for your safety stay inside...
Lock every door and quickly hide,
For monsters roam these streets tonight

Do you hear shrieks across the sky?
Just witches racing bristled brooms.
They dart from trees to dusty tombs,
Ears pricked for a baby's cry.

Why babies? Well you'd best not ask,
Look out, here comes a cloud of bats!
Most vampires will not stop for chats,
With you, a tasty warm blood cask.

Still alive? Well I am impressed!
The graveyard begs a visit next.
Come on, let's both pay our respects,
The undead always welcome guests.

Once you get past the pungent smell,
And hungry moans for human brains
Just add some harmless iron chains
Then you'll find zombies are quite swell!

No scrapes or bites? Well done, I say.
But don't relax, a full moon glows...
Softly the eerie howling grows,
I think we'd best be on our way.

Follow me through darkened woods,
Ignore that rustling and those growls
For though a famished werewolf prowls
He hunts for younger, tender goods.

Did you enjoy our tour tonight?
There were no ghosts? Not so, my dear.
You followed one of them out here...
Into the dark without a light.

And now I leave you in the gloom.
By leaving home you've sealed your doom.
Don't beg now, just accept your fate.
Perhaps I'll bring a new playmate...
