A poetic play on the ambivalence and animosity in the midst of a [relational] break-up.
I see you walk without your umbrella,
No golden shoes to make you Cinderella.
Without wind you whisper "winter",
Without water you want what you cannot.
The misty snow that falls,
The pain that makes you rot,
The magic show, the magic balls
Of rain that paint a piece
Of paradise--surprise,
A paradox in thine eyes,
For distance between us has never been more...

So rise to greet the new sunrise,
For you are wise,
Too wise for mutual ties,
To rise to face these truthful lies
Between us.
All is clear my dear,
The love I had for you; the fear
Is only everlong from now and on.
The fear I have for you; the love
Precipitated from above
Was only for so long and now and on
It's fear...
I am now gone.
