Short poem. Not very good.
I see the lights on this dim night. I hear the sounds coming from the songs we used to sing as a lullaby. I stare into the holes high above on this bleak night. I relinquish these feelings, these memories. I relinquish this feeling deep inside. The desire to hold you, the want to be by your side, the need to feel your skin in my hand. I relinquish these to the wind, to soar far away from my bleeding heart. I relinquish my heart to the push and pull of this ocean at my feet to be dragged to the depths far from your reach. I relinquish my soul to the bottom of this bottle, to fog out the memories. I relinquish it all.
