There's an inevitable war. Question is, what do we do with it?
What do we do with things such as death and war?
When you’re trapped in darkness?
When you’ve tasted the vilest of cruelty?
When it’s hard to see the light amidst thick smoke and ash?

Nobody stands up for they have been silenced.
They are choked with threats.
They are flooded with fear.

What hope can remain
In the middle of havoc?
What faith can be held at such a time of tragedy?

Even so, to just think back to our Savior,
The One who experienced the full weight of all evil.
Bent beneath the tree that would defeat his last attempt of breath,
He chose to fall off the cliff of righteousness and into the darkness.
Willingly drinking from the cup given by the hands of wicked soldiers.
Suffering until death.

Why?
Why can love be lost and hearts be broken?
Why are families torn apart and precious lives taken?
Why do men ravage for their own pleasure?
Why does injustice even have a name?
Why is discrimination played as a game?

It's all a war.
Every space within this world.
No one can escape it.
So how do we hold such heavy weight?

Let’s look again to the Third day.
