Do we notice?
She notices. She notices the way you walk and sit. The way you play with the strings on your sweatshirt when you are nervous. The way you try to make everyone happy when you yourself.. You're not. She notices how hard it is for you to put yourself out there but you do anyway because that's what people expect. She notices when you're sad but you put on the fake smile. She notices how you talk less when your dissapointed. How when you're mad you pretend nothing has happened. How when you're sad and stressed you make a joke about it. She notices how you put on a show. She notices your emotions, what you are wearing, the other girls you talk to, the people you are friends with, how you treat your family and the people you smile at when you smile at her. She notices the way you see the best and most beautiful sides of people. But she doesn't notice the way you see her. The way she plays with her hair when shes uncomfortable. The way she is silent when she is unhappy just to stop the tears from coming. She doesn't know that you notice the way she smiles and dances when she's happy, the way she tries so hard to make others happy and puts others before herself. She doesn't know that you see the way she stands up for others but standing up for herself is so much harder for her. The way she compares herself to others and tries to be the perfect girl. The way she works so hard for what she wants. The way she crumples when she is sad. The way she rolls her eyes and yells at people when she's angry. She doesn't know that you notice her perfect eyes, her smile that lights up a room, her hair you want to run your fingers through. She doesn't know that you notice her. She doesn't know you love her
