Writer's Cramp entry 31OCT20

He will
Quote an oath that leaves you crying
He will
Mind the night goes as planned
He will
Snake to your door in the darkness
He will
Hold tight to your severed hand

See the blue moon jewel so serene
Pall the last Halloween

He will
Kiss your bloody lips so cold
He will
Feast upon your beating heart
He will
Eye you at the gates of hell
He will
Tear your bloody world apart

Watch the monsters on the silver screen
Pall the last Halloween

He will
Laugh as you're turning pale
He will
Put copper coins on your eyes
He will
Lay you in a shallow grave
He will
Tell fond memories of your cries

Think a nightmare is just a dream
The truth is more than a scream
Wick the poetry of his scheme
Pall the last Halloween
