The broken one she can’t continue to cry
In dark times it takes focus to see there is light
Believe there is reason and purpose before understanding why

I was once lost in darkness not able to find a way out
The path of demons and desires to this path I was drawn
Takes courage to face fear and eliminate doubt
Difficult to let go because deep down is the want to hang on

With faith in a higher power you know you’re not alone
Believe in yourself there are many lives you’re going to affect
Your future is determined by choice made when on your own
What you allow will continue only with boundaries you gain respect

Fear is made up in minds from past memories stored
Focus on what you can control positive thoughts only feed your mind
There is always going to be risk before big reward

Be useful not used live not by chance but by choice
Make changes not excuses live your own life not controlled
Choose self-esteem not self-pity always listen to your inner voice

It’s not easy you must have strong will to prevail

Then you will stand up heal make change and overcome

Only belief in your mind you must plant

Have strength and courage to do what others can’t

In times when you are scared not wanting to go on
Have confidence in yourself no reason to run
Courage is not having strength to go on it’s going on when old strength is gone
To get something you’ve never had takes doing things you’ve never done
