An attempt at a sonnet
They met at a party
On to the dance floor he led her away
He wore a dark suit and buckle shoes
He asked ' Can I date you?'
She said Okay
At once she said I love you

Her guy with the buckle shoes
They began to be an item of two
And sampled the dance halls
To the jazz band sound
Jived to the song singing the blues
They married had kids quite a few

In their golden years travelled around
She loved her guy with the buckle shoes.
