sadness depression
Some days it feels as though I'm just crawling out of the darkness
My eyes see the tiniest spark of light
Then just as suddenly as it appeared
back to the darkness I go!
Pulled by something that I imagine is greater than I.
A force with undeniable power
Desiring to engulf my every thought
Gripping my soul with hungry hands
Encased in hopelessness and despair
Adrift in the twilight of my mind.
