The main protagonist is fighting between right and wrong in a war within themselves.
Color and Darkness.

Color and darkness smile at me.
One I must choose, one I will never see.
To fight for justice, to fight for greed.
To plant the corrupt flower or the kindhearted seed.
The right or the wrong, the good or the bad.
I cannot choose, and for this I am sad.
I must partake in this war,
A greedy battle that makes me sore.
The road of color on which I walk;
Seems to very slightly talk.
Things I never knew pop out of the blue,
Surrounding me in new thoughts too.
The taste of knowledge is hard to bear,
Running through me like a graceful mare.
Color is bright and fun,
However, I think I am done.
Darkness is an envelope that seals away my mess,
Aggressively but with the softest press.
Darkness I will choose;
And even though it seems like a lose,
Sometimes darkness is easier as a light,
Although it's no help with physical sight,
It holds my heavy heart graciously tight,
promising vengeance and what is right.
