Like Son

“I can’t find it anywhere.”

“Where have you looked?”

“I’ve looked everywhere!”

“Did you look in the living room?”

“Yes.”

“Kitchen?”

“Yes.”

“Your bedroom?”

“Yes.”

“The back hall?”

“Yes! And the den, and the basement, and the garage and the back porch. I’ve looked everywhere!

“Did you look in the car?”

“Ah, no ...” off he ran.

“Got it!! I must have left it in the car yesterday. Thanks Mom!”

“What was that all about?” Henry asked his wife as he walked into the room.

“Ted was looking for his wallet”

“That boy! He can’t keep track of anything!” Dad laughed.

“I know.”

“Hopefully he’ll grow out of it. Hey, have you seen my keys?”

“Ah, no, did you look in the living room?”

“Yeah...”

“The bedroom?”
