On reflection, it's now a bit longer.
A pirate is a pirate
for all his living days
From beautiful to handsome
to creaking in his stays

He always wears his finest
a sword between his teeth
He has a hook
it was just his luck
to shake hands with a thief

A pirate, such a pirate
as sailed the seven seas
Through storm and still and tempest
he never took his ease

His cutlass every ready
always spoiling for a fight
With his wooden leg
and powder keg
lots of gains without requite.
