I'm always out voted

Always misunderstood

They treat me like a criminal

But I'm just misunderstood


I'm running out of real estate

I'm running out of land

They say that I'm lying

But the proof is in my hands


I can be totally surrounded

And feel completely alone

I constantly want to leave

But I'm trapped inside my home


I've thought about running away

But away isn't where I belong

My mind has been away

But I've been here all along


I'm always out voted

Always misunderstood

They treat me like a criminal

But I'm just misunderstood
