I'm not at liberty to say.
Carbon copy conspirators
conspire upon the wire
maintain their magazines
holding fire, holding fire

Always seeking something
though never clear on what
forever poised to make a play
or maybe have you shot

Capable and ceaseless
clothed in casual chic
really incognito as
over shades they peek

Stooges, sure for somebody
but no one's saying who
plausibly deniable with
important work to do

Bestir some insurrection
ferment some fierce unrest
fan the flames of freedom
civil liberties put to test

Bring banknotes in a briefcase
traffic drugs it's true
but always for the common good
we do what we must do

Could be from the CIA
or maybe the FBI
abbreviations suit them best
pretend they're just some guy
