WIP of the next Lillian Chapter, where Hermione meets old friends who feel betrayed.
Lillian and Draco decided to make the best use of the Holidays possible, the last thing they needed was to keep worrying over the Dark Lord's plan. "Shall we spend the day with friends, or alone?" She asked Draco. Either would help take her mind off everything that happened. "As much as I would love to spend the day alone with you, I think we both need our friends right now." Draco said with a sigh. One day, I'll take her across the world. No Dark Lord, no companions, no worries. He thought to himself

Before they could leave, Hermione called out to them. "Lillian, wait! I need to talk to you." She said, hurrying to catch up to her. "Look, I know things are tense and awkward, but I promise you, I am still the same person. I wish I could have told you, but everything went so fast, we never really had time to bond. And Draco.. given the reveal of my identity... I hope we are no longer enemies." Hermione finished awkwardly. The years of conflict between her and Draco would not heal in an instant.

Lillian thought about what Hermione said for some time, but eventually spoke up. "I understand, I hope we can still become good friends Hermione. Draco and I were planning a trip to Diagon Alley with friends, perhaps you'd like to join us. Just be careful, lots of people have grudges against us now." She said. For the first time since the invasion of Hogwarts, Lillian saw Hermione smile. She sent letters to Blaise, Theo and Daphne, asking them to meet the three of them at Diagon Alley, then using a Floo to transport themselves there.

As they entered, they found it quiet, almost depressing. Some shops had boarded up out of fear, some they knew had been raided by Death Eaters, others had been raided by the Ministry. Some shops were still open though, but Hermione looked horrified. "I thought it would be happier, more cheerful then this... ." She said, looking at what was once Florian Fortescue's ice cream store. "Father never said it was this empty, this depressing." Lillian thought she heard Hermione whisper to herself. "What hasn't he been telling me?"

The only major places that were still running were Gringots and the Weasley Twin's Shop. They knew they wouldn't be welcome at the prank store, and perhaps even Gringots, but short of visiting Knockturn Alley there wasn't much else to see. Passing by the prank store, they saw a furious red headed woman, heading straight for them.

Ginny had been warned by her brothers and friends not to confront Hermione, not to confront her old friend, but she was upset, and felt betrayed. The whole time Hermione had been the daughter of Voldemort. And Lillian had been working with her the whole time! This whole time she had been used, manipulated. Well, she wanted answers, and she planned to get them. "You, I want an explanation, now! Give me a good reason I shouldn't call the Aurors to have you all arrested!" She said, pointing the wand directly at Hermione.

"If you want to call the Aurors, do it. It'll just be another political arrest, that's all Scrimgeour does these days. The mere thought that one could be a Death Eater has neighbours, family and friends turning on each other, but all those who get arrested are nobodies or Scrimgeour's rivals." Hermione said, obviously upset about the wand in her face. "I don't have the time to give you an explanation on the streets. If you truly want one, I'll send you a letter. Now get that wand out of my face!"

Ginny stormed off afterwards, unable to think of anything else to say.

Blaise, Theo and Daphne arrived to see Ginny leave. "This is... awkward. Guess I should apolpgise for how we treated you at school, don't really want your dad to find out. Sorry I kept out of your argument but I don't think Ginny wants to see me right now." Blaise said. "Hate to see her go, but I do love to watch her leave."

"Blaise now isn't the time for your girlfriend problems." Draco said, wishing his friend could think with more then just his dick. But he couldn't stay mad for long and greeted his friend with a hug. "Merlin it's good to see you all. I've been itching for a chance to leave Malfoy Manor for weeks.
