Where Did It Go?

It’s the day before, where did it go,
The struggle is real, this I do know
I’ve tried and I’ve tried,
but the spirit is gone.
I’ve searched every dark, dank corner
And skipped through the cemeteries
trying to get in the spirit frame of mind

I realize a searched for spirit never appears
So, I will just light the candles
Sit in the circle
And wait for the spirit to find me
