Another day trip.
Many a mountain I climb,
One foot in front of the other,
Under skies blue or gray.
Nearer to heaven I strive,
Trails leading me homeward.

“Davis” was this peak’s name,
A little too close to my brother’s
Veiled in cloud’s moniker.
In my humble sadness,
Silently I climbed.
