Darkness, pain, longing for death
Darkness and emptiness
Forever seems my fate
Love is but a fleeting thing
Gone before it can take

Darkness and emptiness
A strongly wielded sword
Stronger than the softest hands
Stronger than your words

Darkness and emptiness
A void, and yet they fill me
Forever my companions
Chained for all eternity

Darkness and emptiness
Is truth behind the lies
And as the centuries unfold
The truth within us dies

Darkness and emptiness
Always within my grasp
Waiting to enfold me
As we become one at last
